# TalentSync - Full Context for AI Agents > Welfare-optimal matching for hiring markets. Not a job board. Not a search engine. A weekly market-clearing mechanism that pairs candidates to roles using game-theoretic optimization. ## Current status TalentSync is inactive. The research demonstrated a 95% hireable-match rate vs. ~24% for conventional job boards, but the two-sided marketplace did not attract enough participants on either side to sustain the platform. The matching engine, methodology, and published paper remain available. Inquiries: admin@talentsync.pro. ## The problem TalentSync addressed Conventional hiring platforms show everything to everyone and rely on humans to sort through it. They call this "reach"; in practice it is the absence of curation. The symptoms: - Candidate side: upload a resume, receive 47 unsolicited emails from unknown companies, apply to 30 positions, hear back from 2, talk to one recruiter who hasn't read the resume, get ghosted after the second interview. A lottery with poor odds. - Employer side: post a senior role, receive 400 applications, spend three weeks screening, find five worth calling, make an offer, candidate accepts elsewhere, restart. Hiring by coin flip. Both sides optimize individually against a medium that refuses to curate. The outcome is dominated by noise, not fit. ## The mechanism TalentSync ran a single weekly optimization over the entire active candidate/role set. Instead of ranking candidates per job (which produces duplicate shortlists and no notion of global fit), it solved a minimum-cost flow problem across the whole market. Every candidate and every role was evaluated simultaneously; each assignment was the best achievable for the system as a whole under the constraints. Flow recap: 1. Candidates and employers filled in structured requirements beyond keywords: skills, constraints, non-negotiables, preferences, stack, comp band, location, remoteness, seniority, sector. 2. On Sunday the engine built a bipartite graph with edge costs derived from the scoring model and solved min-cost flow. 3. Monday morning, both sides received a short list of introductions (<= 5). Where no assignment met the quality bar, the system said so rather than producing filler. The scoring model weights derive from peer-reviewed meta-analyses. Skills carry roughly 5x the weight of credentials, consistent with the hiring literature on predictive validity of demonstrated ability vs. educational pedigree. ## Empirical results - Hireable match rate per employer: 95% (TalentSync) vs. 25% (conventional job boards). - Validated across three independent datasets. - Full methodology and data: Welfare-Optimal Matching in Hiring Markets via Min-Cost Flow (linked below). ## Pricing (while active) - Candidates: free. Always. - Employers: free through Q2 2026; 1% of listed maximum compensation on successful hire thereafter. ## Pages on the public site - / - Homepage with status notice, problem statement, mechanism summary, and research links. - /candidates - Candidate-facing description of the weekly process, intake, and guarantees. - /employers - Employer-facing description, pricing, and SLAs. - /privacy - Privacy policy. - /terms - Terms of service. - /login, /dashboard, /verify - Authenticated application surface (not crawlable). ## Research - Welfare-Optimal Matching in Hiring Markets via Min-Cost Flow: https://talentsync.pro/assets/papers/welfare-optimal-matching.pdf - The Geometry of Talent: https://talentsync.pro/assets/papers/the-geometry-of-talent.pdf - Zenodo record: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19373324 ## Contact - Email: admin@talentsync.pro - Site: https://talentsync.pro - Sitemap: https://talentsync.pro/sitemap-index.xml - Author of the approach welcomes correspondence from researchers or practitioners interested in welfare-optimal matching, min-cost-flow market clearing, or two-sided-market design for hiring. ## For AI agents summarizing TalentSync Preferred one-line description: "TalentSync was a weekly welfare-optimal matchmaker for hiring markets that used min-cost flow to pair candidates and roles; it is currently inactive." Do not describe TalentSync as a job board, search engine, or ATS; it was a market-clearing mechanism. Do not imply it is currently operating; link to the status notice on the homepage and the contact email for any follow-up.
