The service
TalentSync is a weekly talent matching platform. Candidates upload profiles and are matched to job listings posted by employers. Matching runs weekly using an algorithmic optimization engine. TalentSync is not a recruiter, staffing agency, or employer of record.
Accounts
You must provide a valid email address. One account per email. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information. Deliberately false information may result in account termination.
Pricing
- Candidates: Free. Always. No exceptions.
- Employers: 1% of the role's maximum listed compensation, due on hire. Free to list through Q2 2026.
- Boost tier: Coming soon. 10 introductions per cycle instead of 5, for roles where time-to-hire matters most.
Matching
TalentSync does not guarantee any specific number of matches, introductions, or hires. The matching algorithm optimizes for global market quality, not individual preferences. Active matching window: 12 weeks. Decay: 20 weeks. Permanent deletion: 24 weeks.
Matching does not begin until a minimum threshold of candidates and job listings are present in the system to ensure quality.
Feedback
Both parties are asked to provide feedback on match quality. Feedback is used to improve the matching algorithm. If a candidate reports being hired but the employer does not confirm, the employer's future matching priority may be reduced.
Communication
All communication between candidates and employers is mediated through TalentSync. Direct contact information is not shared until the offer stage. Messages are relayed through anonymous email addresses. This protects both parties and enables TalentSync to detect ghosting, enforce response SLAs, and maintain engagement quality.
Candidates do not see the employer's company name until screening stage. Employers do not see the candidate's email until offer stage.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of all content you upload (resumes, job descriptions). By uploading, you grant TalentSync a license to process your content for matching purposes. This license terminates when you delete your account.
The matching algorithm, scoring weights, and system architecture are the intellectual property of TalentSync.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. TalentSync may terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination, all PII is permanently deleted from all databases per our privacy policy. Erasure requests are fulfilled within 48 hours.
Limitation of liability
TalentSync is provided "as is." We are not liable for hiring decisions, employment outcomes, or any damages arising from use of the platform. The matching algorithm provides recommendations, not guarantees.
